Kendrick Lamar's next album is one of the most highly anticipated releases of the year (or next year, whenever he ends up finishing it), but he might be closer to finishing it than we think. HipHop-N-More reports that the lead single from the Compton rapper's new album will be dropping on Tuesday, Sept. 23, though there are conflicting reports as to what the actual title of the single is: it's either "(i) (love myself)," or simply "I." -
NFL Benches Minnesota Vikings Star Player Adrian Peterson In Response To Backlash From Fans and Advertisers
Another day, another major decision on the part of the NFL to help save face in a PR scandal that is beginning to cost the organization both fans and advertisers. Minnesota Vikings star player Adrian Peterson was suspended from playing last weekend due to an ongoing child-abuse case connected to his 4-year old son. Peterson admitted to striking his son with a switch but contended that he himself suffered similar punishment as a child and that he never intended to cause real harm to the boy. The NFL reinstated Peterson briefly but then this morning it was announced that he has now been suspended from playing indefinitely. -

The details keep coming out in connection to Joan Rivers untimely death and the latest report could be absolutely damning in court. We already know that Joan checked into The Yorkville Endoscopy Clinic on Aug. 28th for a routine procedure and while under sedation something obviously went very wrong. According to a new report out, not only did Joan's personal ear, nose and throat specialist decided to attempt to perform an unauthorized biopsy that lead to her cardiac arrest. -

Rush To Release 'R40' Box Set Of Concert Films For 40th Anniversary
In celebration of the 40th anniversary of their debut album, Rolling Stone reports that Canadian prog trio Rush will be releasing a DVD box set titled R40, which compiles five of the band's previously released concert films along with a bonus disc of previously unreleased live footage, including a full concert from 1974 with original drummer John Rutsey. R40 will come on 10 DVDs, or 6 Blu-rays, and is set for release on Nov. 11th. -
