• The Wanted cancel European dates after Max George leaves North American tour

    Bad news for fans of the UK's other boy band: The Wanted have been forced to cancel all of its "mainland" European tour dates for 2014. No reason was given for the cancellation, but many suspect it has something to do with member Max George leaving the group during its North American tour due to "attend some family matters." No further details were shared in that ordeal either.

    London's Burial (born William Bevan), considered to be one of the world's best electronic producers, has delivered on his announcement to release a new EP by the end of 2013. The new effort, called, Rival Dealer, consists of three tracks that span 28 minutes. In anticipation for its official December 16 release via Hyperdub, the three songs are streaming in full now.

    According to Rolling Stone, Beyoncé's new album might finally drop next year if Columbia Records chairman Rob Stringer's recent comments are true. "At some point, Beyoné will put a record out, and when she does, it will be monumental," he told Hits Daily Double. He did not, however, divulge specifics on a release date for the follow up to 2011's, 4. Although the singer has not released any true "singles," she has released about four teasers throughout 2013.

    The Roots really went for it this year with the annual holiday jam session, also known as the OkayPlayer's Annual Holiday Party at Brooklyn's Brooklyn Bowl. It marked the fifteenth anniversary of the OkayPlayer website, which Questlove helped to found, and the show delivered by offering appearances from Wu-Tang Clan's Raekwon, beat-boxing mastermind Rhazel, and an unannounced appearance from Sufjan Stevens.
